Pythagoras Partington
Very proud of Zak Partington this week. He has started a regular revision program (in the holidays) of his worst subject at school….MATHS! He literally hates the subject, and hates giving up holidays for schoolwork, but is taking it on and winning. It was amazing to work with him last night and see a rare moment when he just ‘gets it (and be so excited he voluntarily knocks out another 15 correct examples) ‘.
In the one session he managed to learn Cos, Sine & Tan formulas whilst using pythagoras to determine answers. In the Partington household if we remember anything from the school curriculum, that is a moment worth celebrating!
